With tobacco now killing up to 2 in 3 smokers, we want to make Cheshire and Merseyside smoke free by 2030.
The Smoking Ends Here campaign is designed to help the people of Cheshire and Merseyside become – and stay – smoke free.

It is aimed at anyone who smokes, whether it be an occasional cigarette while out with friends or those who regularly smoke 5, 10, maybe 15 or more cigarettes a day.
In Cheshire and Merseyside, 10.4% of adults over 18 now smoke regularly – a reduction of 1.3% since 2022 and below the national average of 11.6%. This progress reflects the dedication of our communities and Stop Smoking Services, but there is still more work to do.
Therefore, we want to use this hub as a place to house all the free advice and the local support offered by healthcare professionals in the subregion, the NHS Stop Smoking app, and other certified tools.
We will continue to add any new information that could help people on their stop smoking journey throughout 2025 and beyond.
