Back in the 70s, it was ‘normal’ to smoke and coupled with a high-pressure job, Gordon smoked up to 50 cigarettes a day.

She grew tired of how much smoking was costing her and her husband and their lack of quality time together.
Along with a progressively worse smoker’s cough, she decided enough was enough. She leant on her husband and a local support organisation for help and access to nicotine replacement therapies.
To keep her motivated, she opened a holiday fund and saved the money she would have spent on smoking and is now enjoying 5-6 holidays a year! Listen to her story.
I always think you need somebody, even if its an organisation, friend or family member. Do it together, make small targets that motivate each other and you'll find it a lot easier.
